The new Vic bobbin wound filter replaces the existing Atena model and has a new screw-top lid for easy access with quick-locking mechanism for diameters up to and including 2000mm.
Vic filters with diameters of 2350mm upwards have a 400mm diameter bolt-down lid.
Fitted with new 1 1/2" collector arms in moulded ABS, these one piece laterals vary in length from 90mm to 525mm, replace the need for interconnecting unions previously required to make up the length. This makes maintenance easier and more effective. Less head drain loss is also achieved thanks to the increased diameter of the collector arms.
The collector tubes are manufactured in moulded PVC and have a diameter of 90mm. Water drainage and air relief are now quicker thanks to the inclusion of 1" diameter air and water purge valves.
The distance between the upper sand bed and the freeboard has been increaded to ensure improved water distribution in the filtration stage and to avoid sand falling into the drainage system during the wash cycle.
These filters are suitable for filtration velocities of 20,30 & 40m³/h/m², with a maximum working pressure of 2.5kg/cm² for ease of illustration we have shown all filters in the 40m³/h/m² should you require a lower flow rate per hour please email us to get a quote at info@comls.co.uk
All Vic filters are designed to be connected to Valve manifolds bought separately.
The Vic 2.5kg/cm model features a 1.0m deep filtration bed, and flow rates are rated at 40m³/h/m²
The access hatch on the side of the filters is 200mm diameter.
